3-day hike from Ouirgane through the High Atlas Mountains to Azzaden Valley Want to combine your holidays in Morocco with a great outdoor experience? During this beautiful trek, you will explore the heart of Moroccos’ High Atlas Mountains. Starting from Ouirgane, we will make a 3-day hike through the Toubkal National Park and the Azzadane Valley. During this trekking, you will explore the lush green valleys of Imlil and Ouirgane, with a backdrop of white mountain peaks. All trails are at low altitudes, making them suitable for travel throughout the year. Meanwhile, you enjoy the panoramic views and learn about life within the local Berber villages. These consist of brown clay houses and terraced crops, enabling the Berbers to live in self-sufficiency.
The hiking trip includes pick-up and drop-off from Marrakesh. You will explore the beautiful trails through the valleys of the Atlas Mountains and be accompanied by a local Berber guide who takes care of the route and logistics. You will learn all about the local lifestyle and agriculture

Itinerary
Halfway there will be a stop for lunch. Time to enjoy Moroccan tajine! After, we continue to today’s destination: the small village of Tighfist. About 100 people live in brown clay houses scattered on the top of the hill. You will spend the night in a local family house, enjoying great views from their rooftop
Your day will start with a Berber breakfast, including homemade bread, olive oil, and Moroccan tea. Great fuel for a great day of hiking! Today we will cross the valley of Ourigane, enjoying the views of the clay houses built on the hill ridges. The fertile land gives opportunities to local Berbers to live self-sufficient, growing their own fruits and vegetables. Also, we will see the system of Saguia, bringing water from the top of the mountains to agriculture. The day ends in the village of Assif Izagzaoun, where you will spend the night again in a local Berber house.
The last, but definitely not least, day of hiking. After another Berber breakfast, we set off to discover a new valley. Before we climb for about an hour to the pass of Tizi n Tacht, after enjoying the view from the top, we will be rewarded by a descending trail. This will lead us through the gravel road, where we will find the vehicle that will bring you back to Marrakesh.
